When we get tired in the evening or in rooms with little light, it is because the reduction in light tells the body to begin it’s release of melatonin into the blood. The body’s release of melatonin peaks in the middle of the night and starts to drop during the second half of the night. A supplement of melatonin can thus be a great help in restoring the body’s natural sleep cycle and pattern.
