Glucosamine sulphate is a constituent amino sugar of many of the proteoglycans that occur in cartilage. The body uses supplemented glucosamine as raw material to synthesise additional quantities of proteoglycans and water-binding glycosaminoglycans (GAG). Latest research has shown that supplemented glucosamine also has other beneficial effects related to both increased natural production of glucosamine as well as blocking pathological processes that lead to cartilage degeneration. Glucosamine also inhibits certain enzymes (eg. collagenases) which are involved in cartilage destruction.

Ingredients:

• Glucosamine sulphate – 250 mg

• Chondroitin sulphate – 150 mg

• MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) – 135 mg

Dosage: Take 2 capsules three times per day with meals, preferably together with a Fish oil supplement such as Adeva Omega 3 for optimal joint performance. Continuous use for a minimum of 12 months is advisable.
